കനകമല മാർ തോമ കുരിശമുടി തീർത്ഥാടനകേന്ദ്രം

ക്രിസ്തുശിഷ്യനായ തോമാശ്ലീഹാ തൻ്റെ പ്രാർത്ഥനയ്ക്കായി മലയാറ്റൂർ മലയും കനകമലയും ചിന്നമലയും പറങ്കിമലയും സങ്കേതങ്ങളാക്കിയി രുന്നു എന്ന വിശ്വാസപാരമ്പര്യമാണ് കനകമലയ്ക്ക് പ്രസക്തിയും കുരിശുമല തീർത്ഥാടനത്തിന് പ്രാധാന്യമേറാനും കാരണം. തൃശൂർ ജില്ല യിലെ ഏക കുരിശുമുടി തീർത്ഥാടനകേന്ദ്രമാണ് കനകമല.
